Hitchhiker's Guide to Swathed...

When it comes to cleaning multibeam bathymety, Swathed is the tool of choice in the Ocean Mapping Group.  Historically, the daunting learning curve has frustrated students that have passed through the labs of the OMG and this document has been written in an attempt to flatten the learning curve.

At the time of this writing, there are several stages of development planned for this document.
  1. Document all "hotkeys".
  2. Document all windows (purpose, usage, known bugs).
  3. Document all mouse movements (how the user interacts with various widgets in the windows).
  4. Tie the above together into a training manual that can be given to novice users.
Stage 1 is complete, the results of which are available by following the links below (the hotkeys are categorized by the windows in which they are applicable).  Stage 2 and 3 are in the works, while stage 4 is potentially a LONG way off in the future.

WARNING:  The style and format of this document will change so it is wise to bookmark this high-level page only as other pages may be moved about as the layout is reorganized.
