250 Ping, rolling sidescan normalization

The first of the following images is the original sidescan file (with no beam correction). The second image is the same sidescan file after applying a uniform histogram normalization. The third image is the file after applying a rolling, 250 ping normalization.

The first image is the difference between the two corrections and the second is the de rigueur sidescan animation (no ss webpage can be without).

An example of the change in a mosaic (single normalization vs. rolling).
