Student Access to Ocean Mapping Group Data

Students have access to Ocean Map Group data from 1992 to present. The access is read-only so if you need to process data you will need to copy to your own PC. The data is primarily stored on drives named hudson, viscount and howe. Look here in order to find where the data you are interested in is stored and follow the instructions below to access the drives. Note that this access is currently only available on campus for Linux, however if you install the UNB VPN client you can access the drives off campus through windows. Please note that data is to be used for university purposes and NOT be shared with anyone without permission from Dr Hughes Clarke

Note: ITS has disabled wireless access using CIFS so on-campus access to the drives with either Linux or Windows must be done with a wired connection
