Heron 2016
It looks like the survey launch Heron will stay out of the water for 2016, but all systems are operational and we're looking forward to the 2017 survey season. It is currently sitting at the Institute of Ocean Sciences, in Sidney, BC.

Cleaning up
This summer, I've been putting effort into reorganizing the Ocean Mapping Group space here in Head Hall. It's been interesting sorting through almost 30 years of equipment and documents. While it is all a work in progress, e3 is starting to take shape.
New Website
The Ocean Mapping Group has debuted a new website at omg.unb.ca. The new site represents a change in leadership of the group to Dr. Ian Church and the site will be periodically updated with new projects, people and publications as the group continues to grow and evolve.
Amundsen Departs – 2013
