Two of the founding members of the UNB/GGE Ocean Mapping Group were recently inducted into The Hydrographic Society of America (THSOA) Hall of Fame. 

Dr David Wells and Dr Larry Mayer were honoured at the 2017 US Hydrographic Conference in Galveston, Texas. The ceremony kicked off the conference and each of the inductees gave a speech following their award.
